Proof: Meet the Cast
Fred D’Angelo (Robert). This is Fred’s second 4th Wall production (he previously appeared as Esteban in 4th Wall’s staging of The Late Henry Moss). Fred performed on stage in high school and 8 years ago reset the acting button with the encouragement of his daughter Cate. His most recent appearance was as Schultz in Circle Mirror Transformation with Pilgrim Soul Productions. Fred has acted with Barre Players and is a regular at Stageloft Theatre in Sturbridge. Favorite roles include Mr. Shellhammer in Miracle on 34th St., Jinx in Forever Plaid, Mr. Mushnik in Little Shop of Horrors, Jack in Brighton Beach Memoirs, Felix Unger in Felix and Oscar, Al Lewis in The Sunshine Boys, Morgan in The Drawer Boy, Gerald in A Woman In Mind, Lord Capulet in Romeo and Juliet, Claudius in Hamlet, Zombie Guy in Night of the Living Dead, and The Old Man in A Christmas Story where he appeared with Robbin Joyce. Aside from stage productions and murder mystery dinners, Fred plays the piano and sang in Christmas Memories this season at the Salem Cross Inn in West Brookfield. Fred is a psychotherapist with his own private practice in Worcester, MA and holds a Masters Degree in Psychology.

Briana Gardell (Catherine). This is Briana’s 4th Wall debut. She recently played the role of Shelby in Steel Magnolias with Calliope Theater, and has appeared frequently with Stageloft Repertory Theater where her roles have included Molly Ralston in Mousetrap, Desdemona in Othello, and Ruth Condomine in Blithe Spirit. She has taught the youth camp, Enter Laughing, at Stageloft Repertory Theater for the past two summers, and is frequently seen in the Murder Mysteries at the Salem Cross Inn in West Brookfield. Briana has a Bachelor’s degree in English Journalism and also studied acting in college. She has participated in a variety of voice lessons. Other theatre experience includes roles with the Algonkuin Theatre and the Pickwick Players, and she also worked as a producer for Molehill Productions.

Sean Gardell (Hal). This is Sean’s second appearance with 4th Wall Stage Company (he was seen in last season’s production of From Orchids to Octopi). Sean has been a part of Community Theatre in Central Massachusetts for over a decade. Past shows include Hamlet (the title role), Othello, Shadow of a Gunman, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, The Scottish Play, The Importance of Being Earnest, The Taming of the Shrew, and many others. He can also be seen solving the occasional Murder Mystery at The Salem Cross Inn in West Brookfield. Sean holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from WPI.

Aimee Kewley (Claire). Aimee graduated Magna Cum Laude from UMASS Amherst where she earned her B.A. in Theater. After college, Aimee started her career with Foothills Theatre where she was a member of their children’s theater ensemble until its untimely closing. You may have seen her in Cinderella, Rapunzel, or Little Mermaid, amongst others. Since then she has performed in various productions, some of which include Educating Rita as Rita, Ourselves Alone as Josie, and Little Shop of Horrors as Chiffon. Aimee is also a director; her credits include The Cripple of Inishmann, Woman and Scarecrow, and Brothers of the Brush with Pilgrim Soul Productions, all of which received excellent reviews. Currently, Aimee is the Theater director at Burncoat High School in Worcester where she is doing what she believes in most, bringing theater back to the youth of Worcester. Aimee is also a chanteuse who performs in venues all over the state including Nick’s in Worcester where she hosts the monthly all women show Sirens of Song.

Robin Joyce. Director. This is Robbin’s second Directorial appearance with 4th Wall, where she previously directed The Late Henry Moss. Robbin has been acting, directing and stage-managing for theaters in Central New England for decades. She recently directed The Vagina Monologues in Sturbridge, with the proceeds donated to the local Food Pantry and Abby’s House. Favorite rolls include Mary in The Savannah Disputation with 4th Wall, Heidi Holland in The Heidi Chronicles, Timothea in Sea Marks, Katherina in Taming of the Shrew, Goneril in King Lear, Rita in Prelude to a Kiss, Suzy in Wait Until Dark, Roz in Moon Over Buffalo and Christina in Dancing at Lughnasa. Robbin also appeared in Rumors, The Miracle Worker, Steel Magnolias, Miracle on 34th Street, and numerous other plays. She has studied dance for a number of years. Robbin earned an MBA from Western New England University and when not on stage, she’s the Regional Business Manager for a cluster of Worcester and Springfield radio stations.

Virginia ‘Ginny’ Sears. Stage Manager. Ginny appeared most recently as Conchalla in 4th Wall’s Production of The Late Henry Moss. Roles with other theatre companies include Dr. Pierce in Miracle on 34th Street, the Maid in Annie, an ensemble member in My Fair Lady, and monologist for “I Was There In The Room” in The Vagina Monologues. Ginny’s acting career began in High School where she appeared in a number of musicals, including South Pacific, Brigadoon, and Hello, Dolly. Ginny has also been involved with the technical side of theatre, including lights and sound. In the business world, Ginny works for a cluster of radio stations in Worcester and is the Host of the Restaurant Show on WTAG.

David Anderson. Technical Director. David appeared as Jim Tyrone in 4th Wall’s inaugural production of A Moon for the Misbegotten and reprised the same role in 4th Wall’s staging of Long Day’s Journey Into Night. David studied theatre at Middlebury College and received his MFA from Uni.versity of California, Irvine. His theatre career spans New York, Los Angeles and Seattle, in addition to a national tour of Romeo and Juliet. Favorite roles include John Proctor in The Crucible, Eddie in Fool for Love, Demetrius in Midsummer Night’s Dream, Baron Tuzenbach in The Cherry Orchard and Freddie in Noises Off.
